When a catalog profile doesn't fit your design, we extrude it to order. We work from your drawing or sample: dimensions, wall thickness, hollow chambers and functional details (screw ports, channels, grooves). Every profile ships with its technical datasheet: dimensioned section, weight per meter, alloy and temper.

500 kg minimum per profile

For the local market we produce from 500 kg (≈1,102 lb) per profile. You can combine several profiles in one order: each one must reach the minimum. How many bars is that? It depends on the profile's weight per meter:

Custom extrusion die for your profile

If your section doesn't exist yet, we develop a custom die. The process:

  1. Send us your drawing (DWG, DXF or PDF) or a physical sample, with finish and quantity per profile.
  2. We review the section —wall thickness, tolerances and end use— and suggest changes if they improve extrusion or weight.
  3. Custom die if the profile needs one, it is developed for your section.
  4. Production and finishing to order, with the profile's datasheet.
  5. Delivery to your project in the DR, or shipment from the Dominican Republic.

Die terms are confirmed in each profile's quotation.

What is the minimum order for custom aluminum extrusions?

500 kg (≈1,102 lb) per profile. You can combine several profiles in one order, as long as each one reaches the minimum. Each profile's datasheet shows its weight per meter, so you can work out the number of bars.

What if I need less than 500 kg?

For smaller quantities we carry stock profiles in Santiago, in 6.40 m (21 ft) bars, with delivery across the Dominican Republic.

Can you extrude a custom profile from my drawing or sample?

Yes. Send us your drawing (DWG, DXF or PDF) or a physical sample with dimensions, wall thickness, finish and pounds per profile. We review the section and, if needed, develop a custom extrusion die. Die terms are confirmed in the quotation.

Which alloys and finishes do you offer?

Alloys: 6063 (architectural; our catalog alloy, T5 temper), 6061 and 6005 (structural), depending on the profile and its use. Each profile's alloy and temper are listed on its datasheet. Finishes: white, black, powder coating, anodized and wood grain.

Do you export aluminum extrusions to Puerto Rico and the rest of the Caribbean?

Yes. We export from the Dominican Republic to Puerto Rico and to other Caribbean islands. We produce at container scale (full or consolidated) with a datasheet for every profile and quote in US dollars (USD). Freight, import formalities and duties at destination are handled by the importer or their freight forwarder and customs broker.

Do you ship to Guadeloupe, Martinique, the Bahamas and other Caribbean islands?

Yes. We quote container-scale exports to Guadeloupe and Martinique, the Bahamas, Jamaica, the Virgin Islands, Aruba, Curaçao and Bonaire, Turks and Caicos, the Cayman Islands, the Lesser Antilles, Trinidad & Tobago, Belize and the Guianas, by direct service or transshipment. Send us your profiles, quantities and destination port to prepare the quotation.

How long does a custom extrusion order take?

The reference lead time is 4–7 weeks; we confirm the exact lead time in writing in each order's quotation.

What do I need to get a quote?

The ALC catalog code or your drawing, the finish, the length (standard 6.40 m), the pounds per profile, and the delivery point in the DR or the destination port for export.
